Multi-Level & Multi-Plane Awareness - William Swygaard
The following techniques are not to be
taken lightly. However, they are to be lightly taken because it is the beginning of a mental-spiritual experience
that will allow YOU to KNOW YOURSELF. By this, it is meant that YOU, without
the aid of a teacher or an assistant of any kind, (after a few preliminary
exercises) can bring into your physical consciousness your entire past -
your incarnations on this planet, your experiences before you came to this
planet; in fact, you can see for yourself everything you have experienced
since your spirit was released from the Creator.
This designation, "Multi-Level Awareness," is the correct nomenclature - a
direct translation of its designation throughout more solar systems and
galaxies than the present awareness of mankind on Earth understands.
The technique, "Multi-Level Awareness," is simple. There is nothing you can
add to it to make it work better or quicker. It works with everyone.
The Process Procedure...
1. Make a person comfortable. have the person remove his shoes and lie down.
Clasp his legs, one at a time, just above the knee and manipulate your hands
downward, stopping at the knee briefly to make certain the knee is relaxed;
then rubbing on, down to the ankle and bend the ankle; then massage the
foot, and then the toes briefly and vigorously. Repeat this manipulation
quickly. Next, place the palm of your hand on the person's forehead, and
with little pressure, move the skin of the forehead up and down and sideways
for a few seconds. This relaxation process should not be overdone.
2. Ask the person to close his eyes and after a brief moment, ask him to
become a few inches taller by allowing himself to stretch out through the
bottom of his feet. Then say to him, "Tell me as soon as you have done
this." When he says that he has accomplished this, pause a few seconds and
say, "Go back to normal size. Tell me as soon as you have done this." Then,
ask him to repeat the exercise, only the second time ask him to become "a
foot" taller. "Tell me as soon as you have done this." When he agrees, pause
again and tell him to go back to normal size. "Tell me as soon as you have
done this." Repeat the foot tall routine again. Each time ask him to tell
you when he has accomplished the exercise.
Now, go to the other end of the body. "Become a few inches taller by
extending yourself' out through the top of your head. Tell me when you have
done this." Then back to normal size. 'I'hen, do a foot taller three times
through the head. Always ask him to tell you when he is done.
The next step requires further exercising. "Now, this time extend yourself
through the head, face, body, arms, legs and feet. In other words, blow
yourself up just like a balloon. Tell me as soon as you have done this. "
Then go back to normal size. All of the time, throughout these exercises, be
jovial and keep your voice firm and convincing, yet be ready to laugh, and
keep the person going quickly and smoothly through these preliminaries. Once
he has done them well, there is never a need to repeat them.
Next, tell him to blow up like a balloon again, only much larger this time.
When he tells you he had done this, ask him to go quickly and stand in front
of the building where he lives. "Tell me when you are there." As soon as he
says so, start him talking. Ask him to see this and that, and to describe
what he sees. Tell him to look for, one at a time, the door, door knob,
windows, walkways, trees, shrubs, marks of any kind. After he sees and
describes to you, these objects, tell him to, "Go quickly and stand on the
roof of the building and look down into the road (or yard) in front. Tell me
as soon as you are there." Ask him to see and describe such objects as cars,
road, trees, etc. When this is completed, tell him to go about 500 feet up
into the air and look down. (One in a hundred may object at this point but
remind him quickly that he is still safe in the room.) Then repeat the
request. " Tell me as soon as you are there." Ask him to see what he can
observe and report it to you. Keep him talking.
The person may tell you throughout this phase of outdoor work that he is
"imagining things," but remind him gently that this is an exercise in
awareness and continue as if he had said nothing.
3. After he has described to you things he sees from this advantage of
altitude, ask him whether It is daytime or nighttime. When he tells you it
is one or the other, ask him to tell you why he thinks so. He will say
something like, "It is daytime because everything is light and I can see
just as if it were daylight, so it must be daytime." Or, "It is night
because I see street lights and house lights," etc. Or, "It is sort of
twilight, you know, just like after the sun has gone down." If it is
nighttime or twilight in his vision, ask him to make it daytime - bright as
sunlight. "Tell me as soon as you have done this." Then ask him to tell you
why he thinks it is daytime. Keep him talking, talking all of the time. If
it was daytime to begin with, ask him to make it night; and then ask him why
he thinks it is night. Turn the days into nights and back again at least
three times, but be certain that you finish this phase by having it daytime
- a very bright sunny day.
Then, quickly ask him, "Who is making it night and day?" Most will quickly
answer, "I am!" If he hesitates more than ten seconds, ask him, "Are YOU
making it night and day?" He will agree. It is very important that he
understands that he is causing this change.
4. "Now, are you still high in the air?" The answer will be, "Yes." "Please
keep the scene very bright. Come back to earth in another lifetime that you
lived many years ago. Come down quickly as you go back in time; bring your
feet down quickly and firmly, but gently and stand on the ground. Tell me as
soon as you are there. "
Watch the person's face. As soon as there is eye movement under the lids,
tell him, "Please look down at your feet and tell me what you are wearing on
your feet.
The person is now experiencing a good vision of a previous life.
Remind him frequently to, "Look out through your eyes and listen through
your ears." Ask, "What are you wearing on the lower part of your body?" Wait
for descriptions, but keep the person talking. The more talk the better he
will see in the beginning. Insist that the person do only what you tell him
to do and answer your questions; remembering to keep the questions in some
semblance of chronological order. Move the person onward in time - skip a
day, a week, month or year in his lifetime, but keep him moving and talking.
At the end of the lifetime, ask the person to go to an earlier lifetime by
requesting, "Come down in an earlier, lifetime - look down at your feet and
tell me what you are wearing on them."
At the end of the second or third lifetime you have run through, ask him to
"die" and follow through the "death," asking, "What happens next?" (when you
do not have specific questions). No matter what he reports, do not question
the validity. This is new material for people to understand. After you have
run a few people through several lifetimes, you will understand that this
material is valid. When he has run incidents between his lives, ask him to
go back and find his present parents, from the first time he saw them until
after he was born.
Ask questions, questions, questions.
When you discontinue the running process at any time, ask the person, "Do
you see any need to continue at this time?" Let him decide! when to stop.
When you continue with this person at a later time, make him comfortable
(but no need to rub), tell him to turn the lights on inside, and go quickly
back to where he left off last time.
After three to five hours of "coaching" or assisting a person, he should be
quite ready to run himself. It takes a person a little time to learn to ask
himself questions. As soon as he can ask himself questions, he is ready to
go alone. If he reports back to you that he is "stuck," run him a little
more, but make him ask the questions.
Practice is of the essence. Soon an entire lifetime can be seen in a few
minutes with all senses in force.
There are no wasted words in the above. Failure to succeed is failure to
follow the instructions. It is fun to run and to be run. Change off. The
more you run, the better coach you become. Do a lot of both.

Multi-Plane
Awareness
This process was developed by
William Swygaard in the late 1950s and shared through the book, Multi-Level
Awareness and Multi-Plane Awareness. This book has been out of print for
over three decades and copies are extremely rare. Multi-Plane Awareness
(MPA) is designed to allow the experiencer the opportunity to integrate the
bodies of each plane of consciousness that are simultaneously occupied in
full consciousness, which is often unavailable to normal human
consciousness.
It is important to note that
one needs to have developed sufficient understanding of the existence of
these levels of consciousness. If you have not gone deeply into your
own psyche or altered states of consciousness, then this will probably seem
obscure or simply not true for your current experience of life.
Scientifically, this understanding appears to be reaching some level of
acceptance. Dr. Stephen
Hawking's work and M theory incorporates mathematical models of hidden
dimensions of our physical world. Psychospiritual studies also indicate that
there is much more to our 'reality' than the physical world we enjoy.
To offer some insight as to how one might
have other bodies on other planes of consciousness, let us look at a simple
mathematical example. We use roughly 10% of our brains with the 5 senses we
all know about - sight, smell, hearing, touch, and taste. We are aware of
the 'clare-alls' and the 'tele -bies' such as clairaudience, clairsentience,
clairvoyance, claircognizance, clairgustance, telepathy, telekinesis,
teleportation, etc. (see:
Psychic Senses). Could there be more? Undoubtedly.
How many senses do we really have? Imagine
a simple ratio - 5:10 as X:90 and solve for the value of X. To make it
simple, the number is 45. So by deductive reasoning we can imply that there
are as many as 45 more senses with the other 90% of our brain. We may also
infer that these 45 senses may be distributed in somewhat of a 'finer' sense
(pun intended) through 9 other bodies of a different rate of vibration than
the condensed form in the physical realm. This is the premise for
Multi-Plane Awareness. Swygaard's research revealed that 9 bodies were
consistently experienced by his subjects in various contexts and purpose,
residing on other levels or planes of consciousness. What would happen if we
brought them all into our awareness?*
This process is for adepts or
experienced OBE travelers and can cause undesirable situations if one who
has not developed their understanding and life experience in
multidimensional consciousness. It is to be conducted in a quiet space with
meditation music, or background noise such as a small waterfall for
home/office use, being optional. You will need to plan for about two-hours
of time for this process.
It is advised that a skilled
facilitator is used; one who has gone through the process as well and had
some time to integrate the consciousness into their own experience, as their
bodies will be interacting with the others during this experience as part of
the process. It is necessary to only explain the process briefly, sharing
that they may witness other images in addition to their perspective bodies,
although it is not required for success.

The Process Procedure...
This process is for
establishing the awareness and integration of each of the bodies we have on
other planes of consciousness. These bodies range in scope of being from
human to galaxian and beyond to pure light...Source. Each plane has a body
and a name and is just as real on its plane as the experience of the
participant is on the 3rd plane, our physical world. The
participant is informed that a vocal link will remain so that he/she may be
in constant contact with the facilitator, reporting the events as if
watching a movie. This is usually a process that an adept at meditation is
able to complete. The challenge is to suspend analysis of the mind and to
just 'experience' and report it as live coverage of your journey.
It is also imperative that
the voice contact with the participant be maintained. It is important that
the participant is lucid enough to be able to accomplish this or the process
is impossible. They are asked to just observe and report, not to attempt to
analyze what they are seeing... just report back as an observer. The
intellect will attempt to decipher in the beginning, so it is necessary to
just be an observer now, totally and completely, reporting what is being
seen to the facilitator. A trained and tuned-in facilitator will manage the
process at the participant's speed of surrender, entering fully into the
experiencer and reporting observer. It may sound strange but once the
process begins it will make complete sense.
The facilitator records,
either on paper or by a recording device, the images, names of the various
bodies and messages that the participant experiences. This is a sacred
process and ONLY those who are able to move into this state of Being are
taken any further. They must be able to still the mind and just BE in the
experience. Otherwise, damage to the psyche of the individual may occur. It
is imperative that extreme caution is observed in this process. The use of a
centering prayer of protection or invoking your allies and guides in
preparation is useful as well.
The Process Engaged...
A skilled facilitator or
Hypnotherapist is general the best person to guide this process with the
participant. First, the participant is guided through a relaxation and
opening process. This is done by taking several deep breaths and clearing
the mind of outer interferences, acknowledging the protection of the Masters
and Angels for this process and thanking them for their participation, or
whatever protective prayer you wish to perform. This may take a short time,
or several moments depending on the state of the participant.
Next there is a process of
visualizing the light body, seeing the skin becoming light initially. Then
the participant visualizes this light body expanding slightly.. perhaps only
12-15cm.. first expanding from the feet, pausing for a moment, and then
returning. The same is done from the top of the head, and from each side of
the body, forward and backward. The same is then repeated at a distance of
30cm and returning after each area of expansion. The prepares the
participant to release their light body, while remaining consciously
available to report what they see and hear or sense on each plane.
The time for this process
varies, again according to the ability of the individual. Then the entire
light body is expanded and contracted in the same way, first 12-15cm and
then 30cm and returned. Once this process of getting familiar with
visualizing and sensing the light body is complete, the light body is
expanded slightly and then allowed to move above the body, at a distance of
30cm or so. The consciousness of the participant is then allowed to shift,
or move, into the light body.
The facilitator can either write the participant's responses or record them
for future review.
Once the light body is
allowed to rise above the physical body and the consciousness is projected
into it, the participant is asked to allow his/her light body to enter the 4th
plane of consciousness, immediately above the 3rd plane, which is
our normal waking environment. This is done by asking them to allow their
light body to rise up into this 4th plane with their conscious
awareness intact. Ask them to pause and observe the scene for a moment,
allowing whatever is necessary to appear to them.
After a moment, ask them what
they are seeing, knowing that something may have been presented. This does
not always occur, although it is the norm. Ask them to describe what they
are seeing in as much detail as they can offer. After this process is
completed, ask them to request that their body on this plane reveal itself
to them in a recognizable human form... male, female, or androgynous. Assure
them to know that it will and then ask them to wait until it appears and to
announce when it does. The body on each plane may be male, female or
androgynous. Ask them to describe it in as much detail as possible and do
the same on each of the successive planes as well.
After the body appears, there
may be some instantaneous communication that the participant will report.
Listen in detail and record their experience. Then ask them to inquire of
the name this body is known by on this plane and record that as well. If the
participant begins to share communication again, allow them to do so as this
is a process of flow, gently guided by the facilitator. When this
communication is complete, the participant is then asked to look into the
eyes of their body on this plane and feel the connectedness of love and
oneness. Then ask the participant to allow the two bodies to merge with the
result being that the participant is able to SEE through the eyes of the
body on this plane and report back what they witness. They will be ONE at
this time.
It may be necessary to prompt
them to remember to just observe and accept whatever is presented without
question... leave the intellect alone... they are only observing and
reporting. Their experience will be discussed in detail at the end of the
session. The facilitator may also experience some indications - visual
or thoughtful prompts - that will assist the experiencer in their journey.
They are an observer in the process, simply reporting what they experience.
After a few moments of
observing and reporting these observations, the participant is asked to now
continue their journey by allowing their combined bodies to ascend to the
next plane, through intending to do so and relaxing to allow it. It often
happens quite naturally without much effort at all. The same process is
performed as on the 5th plane, observing first, calling for their
body, asking its name and so on. This is continued up through the 12th
plane of consciousness. Everyone seems to have the same experience of the 12th
plane and that will become apparent over time.
The length of time required
will depend on the amount of information each body shares with the
participant. It is also important to keep them aware that these are their
bodies and they are just as real on their perspective planes as the human
form is on the 3rd plane. Time required for each plane may vary
according to information exchange and experience reporting of the
participant. Occasionally there will be recognition of familiarity with a
particular body, having witnessed it before in either a dream or vision.
This may demonstrate just how connected they already are as evidenced by
their familiarity.
Once the 12th
plane is achieved, the return trip is now necessary. The 12th
plane usually evokes a sense of bliss, with the participant wanting to
remain on this Creator level. Most participants experience the Pure Light
and Union in ONENESS on this plane as this is the highest plane on the
levels of human consciousness available at this time. Other planes will
become available after the evolution of the participants consciousness is in
alignment with these 9 other bodies that are associated with this physical
world.
It is recommended that a slow
return be used, allowing the participant to leave the various bodies on
their respective planes on their return to the 3rd plane of
consciousness. Occasionally there may be one who, hearing the prompt for the
return, may choose to immediately return to the physical body. Although this
is not recommended, it indeed may be the natural process for them at this
time in order to integrate these bodies into a working relationship with
their conscious mind. When this process is complete, and the participant is
back into the physical state, it is desirable to discuss their experience in
as much detail as they feel necessary. The facilitator, as their skill
progresses, may also witness shared images or forms as well as is the nature
of this work.
This process may be used
repeatedly with the objective of bringing all the bodies into alignment with
the physical and needs to occur at the level of growth and comfortability of
the individual. Enjoy the process and recognize the insights within your own
Being, being careful to always maintain focus on the participant during
these sessions. It will greatly bless you both as each reaches a more
integrated experience of ONENESS. Be thankful.. Be humble...share the
ONENESS of Creation and Creator.
A few words of caution... One who chooses
to return at the first prompt may experience being awakened in the wee hours
of the morning from a deep sleep. They may experience sounds, voices, music,
or a variety of other things. It is a natural part of the process as these
subtle vibratory bodies will want to let their presence be known. It may be
disconcerting to the experiencer initially as they may not relate or
understand what is happening. Fear not, it will subside as they get more
comfortable with their selves.

* I did not follow the promptings of the facilitator who
took me through my first experience of this process. Instead, I brought all
the bodies back (opened my eyes immediately after the prompting to begin the
process of returning). For several weeks I would awaken in the early hours
of the morning with so much 'noise' in my room that it was rather
disconcerting. I did not understand what was happening at all at first. I'd
had enough experience to know I wasn't going crazy, yet it was still really
weird.
It wasn't until a dear
friend, who happened to have a Doctorate in Parapsychology, perceived many
'beings' in my room. She was awakened just as I had been, only she could not
understand how I could even sleep with them because they were so pronounced
in her consciousness. It was then that the 'realization' struck... this was
me... my bodies and their slivers of consciousness... that was all around me
now. The only reason I could perceive them was that the silence of the
morning allowed the subtle energies to become more present... louder if you
will... in those moments. Don't believe a thing I say, though. Test it.
